Artist Statement:
I paint with oils, watercolors and homemade inks that Ive made from foraged and plant-based materials. The thread existing throughout all of my work is my love of and connection with the natural world. I enjoy exploring the space between what’s “real” and imagined through my landscape and figurative paintings, incorporating bold colors and elements of representational and abstract design. Im moved by the beauty, wonder and dream-like quality that exist in everyday moments, and aim to express these feelings and observations through my paintings.
