Artist Statement:
Artist/Advocate. I paint with all my senses and start with one finger, a pallete knife and lots of sketches. Roaming the countryside with my camera, pencils, paper and a peanut butter sandwich I grew up in the Appalachia mountains Steinbeck, Sinclair and Vonneqet were my companions For 20 years I worked s as a civil rights paralegal I captured their stories with my camera. I documented their injuries and stood by them in court. It was a privilege. Now I chase sunrises with my camera and create dialogue through my paintings
