Artist Statement:
The subjects of my paintings are like ghosts; frozen versions of people that existed for one brief moment, like something that went by, mostly unobserved, but was definitely there. I want each viewer to bring their own baggage to the work and in doing so imbue the experience of the image with their own emotions, hopefully creating a kind of reflection.
